GLJ Contracts Ltd were instructed to carry out the renovation of an industrial Unit on the Bartley Point Estate, the works taking place included stripping out the buildings internals to be able to begin updates and upgrades to the unit.

There were also works to the roof of the unit, with the top sheets being replaced, and brand new skylights being installed. With the roofing updates, we were also instructed to service the existing PV system.

The warehouse undertook redecorating works, with the walls all undergoing repainting works, these works also spread to the units office and WC’s with updates being made throughout.

Works to update the electrical system took place, with a new emergency lighting system being installed to the unit along with this new panel heater were installed to go with the new heating system installed. The AC system that was already present in the unit also undertook

Other works that took place included the installation of a brand new Roller Shutter Door that was installed to the front of the unit, There were also other general restoration works to the interior and exterior of the unit, with cleans being done to the elevations, and to the service yard itself.

Refurbishments took place to the office areas, including a new kitchenette being installed in the office. New tiling was installed in this area, along with being completed in the WC’s. The WC’s also undertook some upgrades with new IPS systems being installed, along with new sanitaryware’s being brought in to the unit

The offices themselves also undertook works to refurbish them, with new carpets being installed within the working areas, and new vinyl flooring being installed within the kitchenette area and WC’s. Aside from this there were also works instructed to strip out and reinstall a new suspended ceiling system throughout the office areas.
