GLJ contracts Ltd were instructed to carry out the full renovation of Unit 941, on the Slough Trading Estate, The works were instructed in order to bring new life into the unit in advance of future tenants.
A large amount of works were done externally, this included repairs to the cladding sheets on the units elevations, along with a large amount of works to the roof of the unit, again with repairs, but also with the installation of new man safe systems, including skylight covers & a new key clamp guardrail system.
Other external works undertaken included new line marking works to the car park areas allocated to the unit, repairs to the underground drainage of the unit, along with other general works to clean up the exterior of the unit.



Works were undertaken to upgrade the electrical system in the building, with updates to the lighting and heating and servicing of the fire alarms in the unit. With this, there were also works to upgrade the plumbing in the unit, with a new water heater being installed, with both a new kitchenette and a full revamp of the WC’s to go along with this.


Other works included the flooring being replaced throughout the Unit, this involved the installation of new epoxy coated flooring in the warehouse area and brand new laminate flooring being installed to the lobby area. There were also carpets installed in the office areas, with new vinyl flooring also being placed in the kitchenette & WC’s of the unit.
Aside from these works, there were decorative works throughout the unit, this included painting the walls in all areas of the unit, and the new decals to show the bike rack area under the stairs in the unit.
