Commencing June 2015 Staffordshire University will undertake a £40 million makeover of its main campus and facilities on College Road to accommodate an additional 2000 plus students.

 

The redevelopment scheme includes construction of a new building housing cafe and teaching rooms along with a modern refurbishment of its existing Mellor, Cadman and Flaxman buildings.

 

Working under Thomas Vale Construction part of the Bouygues Group, GLJ have been employed to provide contract services throughout the refurbishment phases. Works instructed include procurement and installation of acoustic and glazed partitioning, dry-lining and plastering, suspended ceilings, fire stopping and specialist carpentry and joinery works including made to order doors and IPS washrooms systems.
