After a break in at the above unit  GLJ were instructed to undertake the full Refurbishment of the unit which included cleaing up all rubbish and carry out stri out works due to damage caused by vandalism and water damage. Works for this unit comprised of roofing works which included coating the gutters in Giromax Delcote and Carrying out cut edge works. GLJ had to strip off all wall linings due to damage , Re board and re skim the office and WC areas , GLJ redecorated the unit throughout including coating the warehouse floor , New floor coverings and suspended ceilings where installed to office areas and corridors , GLJ carried out extensive works to the WC area which included new tiling to the walls and floors , New sanitary ware throughout , New IPS , Cubicles and Vanities. Repairs had to be carried out to the air handling Units to get them up and running , GLJ also had loads of M & E work on this project which included new electrics through out  due to damage or existing electrics been ripped out. This included new Distribution boards , New wiring , New Lighting to all Amenity areas and warehouse area ,GLJ also installed a new boiler and pipework throughout again due to all the existing being vandalised or stripped out. GLJ also had to install a new stainless steel balustrade which was missing to the fire escape stairwell.

External works on this project included Cleaning up all fly tipping that was left around the perimeter of the building , New external lighting had to be installed , Sectional panels had to be replaced to the loading bay doors , All the external cladding was cleaned , The drain to the building were surveyed and cleaned out t ensure there were no blockages.

GLJ delivered the project on time and in budget and all parties were pleased with the final result.
